The most common was the Pear, with almost half (49%) of those asked describing themselves as this shape – a little larger around the middle, while 15% said they were straight up and down like a Cucumber and only 4.3% describing themselves as a String Bean or a Snowman.

Surprisingly, men felt similar about their bodies with almost three quarters of those asked admitting they hated their body and almost half saying they needed to lose weight. Our research also found that men felt at their physical best at aged 28 with almost half saying at that age they had the perfect shape for their age and felt most comfortable in their bodies.
