I bought Samsung S24plus in October 2024.
Brand new model, the best one. I thought...
Not listening to few friends telling me to not buy this model. Well, they were right. I hate to admit that.
I am not happy at all. I was not happy from the first moment. But I thought I need more time to get used to it. I have been with Samsung for around 18 years. Never had any other phone just Samsung. So by the choice of getting a new phone there was no discussion which brand to choose. But I think this model was not the right choice. My biggest disappointment is the finger print scanner and the camera. It just doesn't do those nice photos it used to. I have felt very rarely satisfied with the photo, either the depth but mostly the sharpness and the zoom to a certain point. My photos are never as nice as my partners and he keeps laughing and saying the fruit is better, I should just get one. I am not sure if it is just mine, or others have same issues. My brother also has only Samsungs and for some reasons his photos are so amazing.
Also the feature of putting all the 3 cameras  onto the upper corner of the phone was not a very fortunate decision. It is the point where you hold the phone with your finger, and the cameras are constantly dirty.
The fingerprint sensors are horrible. It never recognise my finger print. I made 2 different finger prints with same finger resulting in not recognizing none of them most of the times. Mostly I need to use the password because it just won't recognise the fingerprint. Sometimes it work, mostly it does not. Which is really annoying because sometimes you just need to unlock quickly,  lets say when using contactless, and it really keeps pushing my limits of keeping cool. Especially when half the bus is looking at you with the driver while for the fifth time this useless feature decides to act up. Thank you want to quickly type in your password but it also needs to be long so in that speed you make mistake and the password is not recognized,  than again...because now you are even more nervous and the cold sweat is dripping down your forehead.

I liked the s24 when I bought it. It isn't the phones's problem.  I HATE, ABSOLUTELY HATE ALL THE TOTALLY UNNECESSARY UPDATES THAT ARE JUST TINKERING WITH THINGS THAT DIDN'T NEED FIXED. We should be able to opt out of your REDECORATING, just changing stuff because you have a DEPARTMENT OF TINKERING WITH STUFF.

I bought this phone for my birthday in November and I'm highly upset with the camera. The s21 was so much better. Selfies are horrible. They look cartooinsh and AI made. It's sad I have to screenshot my my own photos from video mode to get a good photo from the 2 seconds. Enhance and features are separated. You have to download an app and sometimes the photos come out worse.
